About the Job

Social Welfare offers you an independent and varied job where the needs of people for support are at the center.

A good reception and a professional approach to the patient is a guiding principle for quality in our work. The starting point for the nurse's work is teamwork. You will work in a team consisting of nursing staff, nurses/specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and unit managers. The target group is people with various disabilities within LSS and social psychiatry.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you are responsible for patients who are enrolled in the municipality's health and medical care. In your profession, you make independent assessments, perform medical treatments, and plan nursing interventions as well as guide and educate nursing staff on health and medical issues. You work independently, which requires you to plan your workday based on the needs of patients and the organization.

Who are you?

We are looking for a nurse, preferably with experience in psychiatry and LSS.

You have a genuine interest and commitment to working with people with various disabilities. As a nurse, you should be independent and take responsibility in your profession while valuing teamwork highly and being flexible. You can structure your workday and prioritize your tasks. You see opportunities and can adapt to both situations and individuals. You contribute to a good working climate, and great importance is placed on your personal suitability. You need to have a B driver's license.
