About Us - Surgical Clinic, Ward 62

As a nurse at NU Healthcare, you make a difference for other people - every day. Lives are saved here, lives are changed here. With us, you work closely with other professional categories where we at the surgical clinic collaborate and help each other across departmental boundaries and outpatient clinics. Here you will have the opportunity to work with broad and advanced care characterized by development and teamwork! Ward 62 has 18 beds and is a surgical care ward primarily conducting advanced abdominal surgery. Our focus is mainly on planned surgery of the lower abdominal organs (colon and rectum). We also have an endocrinological focus with thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.

At Ward 62, you are part of a daily routine where pre- and postoperative care is a central part, and a high patient turnover characterizes the unit. We have a clear teamwork approach, and you will be part of a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, specialist nurses, and doctors. We care about a qualitative introduction where your onboarding is tailored based on experience and knowledge! With us, recovery and development are in focus. We work according to individual schedules. The timing is arranged in consultation with the manager.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse. It is desirable that you have previous experience in emergency care or experience as a nurse in surgery, but it is not a requirement. You are a person who enjoys working in a team and has good collaboration skills but also thrives on working independently. We hope that you are responsible, meticulous, flexible, and enjoy varied tasks and have an interest in human interactions. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
