JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who wants to work closely with people and contribute to safe and quality care. The position is part of a Close Care project during 2026, focusing on operational development and quality-enhancing measures within home care. The project aims to meet an increasing need for care by strengthening the team's competence, developing work methods, and ensuring safe, cohesive, and person-centered care for our users.
There are good opportunities for continuation after the project period, as the need for home care is expected to increase in the long term.
As an assistant nurse, you have a central role in our HSL-USK team and are involved in creating safe and professional care for our patients.
Your tasks are performed under the delegation of a nurse and include, among other things:
- Wound care where you carefully and diligently follow given routines and guidelines
- Sampling and handling of samples according to instructions
- Medication administration, such as dose distribution and subcutaneous injections
- Catheter care in accordance with applicable work routines
The work initially takes place under introduction together with a supervising nurse, after which you work more independently in close dialogue with the team. You contribute your competence and commitment to ensure that our patients receive high-quality care.
The position also includes documentation according to applicable guidelines, where you clearly and accurately register relevant care tasks.
Working hours are scheduled for daytime Monday to Friday.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who is a trained assistant nurse with a protected professional title and has at least two years of experience as an assistant nurse. You have good knowledge of basic care and are confident in your professional role.
It is meritorious if you have experience in wound care, catheter care, and sampling, as well as familiarity with working according to applicable guidelines and hygiene routines. If you have experience with the tasks, we see it as a positive, but the most important thing is your commitment and your willingness to develop together with us. To thrive in the role, you are responsible, confident, and have good collaboration skills. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and enjoy a daily routine where tasks may vary. We appreciate if you are unpretentious, engaged in your profession, and want to contribute to maintaining and developing our high quality of care.
You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a B driver's license. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
In this recruitment process, we work with ongoing selection, and you may be contacted before the application deadline.
Welcome with your application today!
