About Us - Surgical Clinic, Department 62

As a nursing assistant at NU Health Care, you make a difference for other people - every day.

With us, you work closely with other professional categories where we at the surgical clinic collaborate and help each other across departmental boundaries and outpatient clinics. Here you will have the opportunity to work with broad and advanced care characterized by development and teamwork! Department 62 is a surgical care department that primarily conducts advanced abdominal surgery. We focus mainly on planned surgery of the lower abdominal organs (colon and rectum). We also have an endocrinological focus with thyroid and parathyroid surgeries.

With us in Department 62, you are part of a daily routine where pre- and postoperative care is a central part and high patient turnover characterizes the unit. We have a clear teamwork, and you will be part of a team consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, specialist nurses, and doctors. We care about a qualitative onboarding where your introduction is tailored based on experience and knowledge! With us, recovery and development are in focus. We work according to individual schedules. The time is arranged in consultation with the manager.

About You

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a great interest in pre- and postoperative care. Previous experience in surgery is an advantage. You are a person who enjoys working in a team and has good collaboration skills but also thrives on working independently. We would like you to be responsible, meticulous, flexible, and enjoy varied tasks as well as have an interest in human interactions. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. In the role of nursing assistant with us, no two days are alike, and with every shift, we make a difference for the patients.

The position is a temporary position until 31/10-26.

We conduct interviews continuously throughout the application period.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within healthcare and social services.
