The Speech Therapy Clinic is organized within Ear, Nose, Throat, and Jaw Surgery and is a general speech therapy specialist clinic.

We work in both outpatient and inpatient care. The Speech Therapy Clinic operates at both NÄL and Uddevalla Hospital. The clinic has access to administrative support from medical secretaries and clerks. Flexible working hours apply. Do you want to help shape the working methods in our new specialist assignment?

We are looking for three speech therapists who can contribute to our newly formulated assignment within specialist care. We are looking for speech therapists with experience/deepened competence in several speech therapy areas. We are particularly looking for you who have experience in:

• stuttering
• dyslexia assessment
• voice function disorders
• speech motor disorders

We are looking for someone who can work independently and has the ability to drive speech therapy issues in the context in which you operate. We place great importance on you as a person and your ability to collaborate with patients, relatives, and care neighbors. We are keen to create a workgroup where colleagues complement each other so that together we can solve the unit's assignment.

Job Responsibilities

Your position includes, regardless of speech therapy orientation, diagnostics, treatment, as well as advice and prescription of aids. All speech therapists within the unit are expected to contribute to solving inpatient care assignments during holiday periods, for example. For those who have worked as speech therapists for at least two years, supervision of speech therapy students is included in the position.

Qualifications

Licensed speech therapist is a requirement. Previous experience of speech therapy work in one or more of the areas mentioned above is desirable. Since speech therapy work largely involves communication, good knowledge of the Swedish language is of great importance. If you master additional languages, we see it as an asset.
