We are looking for a nurse for ward 33!
Your workplace
The Nephrology Clinic is responsible for specialized kidney care in Värmland.
Ward 33 is a medical acute care unit with expertise in nephrology. Here, we work with the investigation of kidney diseases and preparations for hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (CAPD). We care for both acutely ill patients and patients in a more stable phase, aged 18 and above. The length of stay varies from a few days to several weeks, providing a dynamic and educational work environment.
We look forward to welcoming you to a workplace with an open and inclusive atmosphere, where we value collaboration, commitment, and joy at work. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in your professional role while contributing to creating safety and quality for our patients.
Do you want to work in a stimulating environment where you can develop both professionally and personally? We offer an exciting and varied position where you work with patients who have complex care needs and multiple concurrent health conditions. This gives you the opportunity to deepen your competence in various medical areas and strengthens your ability to handle advanced care situations.
As a nurse with us, you will be an important part of an engaged team that strives together to provide high-quality care. You will receive an individually tailored introduction, opportunities for professional development within the organization, and training in peritoneal dialysis treatment. For those who are newly graduated, the region's clinical development program (KUP) is also included during the first year. We are proud of our department and the work we do together. Here, you will have the opportunity to grow in your professional role while contributing to a positive and pleasant work environment.
Your tasks
The ward is organized into smaller teams, which means that you, together with a nursing assistant, are responsible for the daily care of the patients. In your role, you will be involved in rounds, medication management, and various medical technical procedures. We have a large number of students in the department, making supervision a natural and important part of the work.
You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge while also developing in your professional role. The position involves working according to a mixed schedule with day, evening, and night shifts, providing variation and flexibility.
Your skills and competencies
We are looking for a licensed nurse; previous experience in the field is an advantage but not a requirement.
As a person, you are positive and solution-oriented, have a good demeanor, and are good at communicating. It is important to us that you are confident, meticulous, and have good collaboration skills. You want a varied and independent job where you constantly develop in your professional role. You put the patient first and are good at taking initiative and responsibility for your own tasks as well as for the whole. You also have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and can handle days with occasionally high tempo.
Selection and interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment process. Welcome with your application!
