The Specialist Clinic for Orthodontics is centrally located in Karlstad in the same building as the public dental care Tingvalla.

We also have annex clinics in both Arvika and Hagfors. We are a total of 19 employees, six orthodontists, nine orthodontic assistants, one healthcare administrator, one dental nurse, receptionist, and clinic administrator.

We are a clinic with very good cohesion and a pleasant working environment, as well as high competence in all types of dental deviations. The clinic has a good collaboration with general dental care and other specialist clinics within the region.

Your Responsibilities

With us, you will have a varied and stimulating job consisting of patient treatment together with the responsible orthodontist, as well as delegated work within the orthodontic field. The patient group includes both children and adults. It is important for us that our patients feel satisfied after a visit, and therefore we place great emphasis on service and reception.

If you are at the beginning of your career, you will receive good support from your new colleagues. In addition, we provide you with a great start to your new career as you will participate in the comprehensive introduction program offered by Public Dental Care.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who is a trained dental nurse or licensed dental hygienist with further training as an orthodontic assistant. Experience in the profession is an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks, while also having the ability to take initiative when the situation requires it. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working together with others to achieve common goals. You are meticulous and structured in your tasks and have a strong service focus where you always strive to deliver high quality.

Public Dental Care Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental care clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. In addition, there are clinics in all specialist areas that treat patients on referral. We are a forward-looking organization with quality and competence in focus.
