We are looking for nursing assistants for the summer of 2026 for our operations in medicine. We offer a fun, stimulating, responsible, and exciting job where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills together with new colleagues.

About the Medicine Department

The medicine department at Kungälv Hospital consists of three care wards and an outpatient unit. The wards are located in the brand new care building. Our specialties include a cardiology ward, including a section with cardiac intensive care beds, an internal medicine ward focused on intermediate care, gastroenterology, hematology, and diabetes, as well as a ward with a general medicine focus. Thus, we have the capacity to accommodate a wide range of medical diagnoses.

Job Responsibilities and Work Methods

We offer you a temporary position in a medical care ward - a stimulating, responsible, fun, and exciting job where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills together with new colleagues. We provide you with an individual introduction before you start working independently.

Qualifications

You are a trained nursing assistant; experience in emergency care, hospital experience from previous employment or internships, and experience in venipuncture and nursing work are meritorious.

If you are a student in the nursing program, you need to have completed semester 3 or semester 4 depending on your educational program.

If you are a student in the medical program, you need to have completed semester 5 or semester 6 depending on your educational program.

Protected Professional Title for Nursing Assistants

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title of nursing assistant in healthcare and social services.
