Our assignments often take place within critical and public operations where we together create safety, robustness, and development – both in everyday life and in crisis.

AddContext is now looking for an experienced security specialist in physical security with a strong ability to work analytically, advisory, and project-oriented in complex environments.

About the Role

As a Security Specialist in Physical Security, you will play a key role in shaping the physical security of some of Sweden's most extensive infrastructure projects. You will work in large and complex project environments related to critical societal operations, often in close collaboration with authorities and other public actors. The solutions you help develop will affect how people, flows, and critical functions are protected in everyday life and during crises.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct risk and security analyses of physical security, including site visits
  • Analyze existing protection in relation to risk profiles, SSF's industry standards, and specific operational requirements
  • Prepare documentation, analyses, and technical materials
  • Develop project documentation for physical protective measures and security systems
  • Design solutions for perimeter protection, intrusion alarms, and locking systems
  • Propose and describe technical and organizational solutions for facility monitoring
  • Ensure that proposed solutions are practically feasible and can be procured and implemented
  • Collaborate with the project organization and external actors such as suppliers and alarm centers
  • Propose balanced security measures in relation to internal requirements and compensatory measures where this is not possible

We are looking for someone who has

  • Documented experience in working with risk analysis as a basis for determining protection needs for physical security
  • Documented design knowledge in physical security and/or security systems
  • Experience in producing technical documentation, procurement materials, and requirement specifications and/or construction documents
  • Experience in physical protective measures such as intrusion alarms, perimeter protection, and locking systems
  • Experience in facility monitoring and related technical solutions
  • Experience in working with alarm centers and associated action and response procedures
  • Experience in security work in complex operations
  • Ability to develop balanced and cost-effective protection solutions based on risk and operational benefit
  • Experience in compiling/writing summary reports and presentations of achieved results

You have a relevant academic degree or other post-secondary education in security, technology, or a related field. Long and well-documented experience from qualified work in physical security can be assessed as equivalent.

As a person, you are

We are looking for someone who shares our values – proactivity, commitment, responsibility, and sustainability – and demonstrates this in their way of working:

  • You are proactive. You act before being asked, identify needs, and drive work forward with decisiveness and courage. You are flexible but do not lose direction and dare to make decisions even when everything is not fully outlined.
  • You show commitment. You are present, curious, and build relationships with both clients and colleagues. You want to understand deeply and actively contribute to assignments, atmosphere, and common goals.
  • You take responsibility. You are reliable and clear in your deliveries and see the big picture. You lead yourself, are communicative, and contribute to quality, trust, and progress in assignments.
  • You act sustainably. You think long-term, create safety, and contribute to structure, learning, and balance – both for yourself and others.
