Our Offer

The Primary Care Center of Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Health Center Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers during evenings and weekends, and the General Medicine Training Center.

We conduct a broad primary care operation where we offer care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life. The health center Boxholm belongs to the Primary Care Center within Region Östergötland. The operation currently has about 4,800 registered patients.

Job Description

  • Responsible for patient-related documentation, registration management, invoicing, and mail handling.
  • Contact with patients via phone, 1177, and similar.
  • Works according to local job descriptions available at the workplace and has specific areas of responsibility in agreement with the responsible manager.
  • Works with reimbursement systems linked to patient documentation.
  • Participates in operational follow-up and can produce relevant statistics.
  • Works in a team and contributes to good collaboration and open dialogue with colleagues.

You should have good knowledge of relevant IT systems within Region Östergötland, such as Cosmic. There is another health administrator at the health center. Together you will distribute tasks between you. In addition to the previously described tasks, one of you will work in TESSA with personnel planning and scheduling, and one will be ITR and LBA. At the health center, we work closely together and help each other. This means that you may also be a temporary substitute at the reception. You will work closely with the operations manager.

Work Group

At the health center, about 26 employees work in the professions of general practitioners, ST doctors, nurses/district nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, and health administrators. The operation is characterized by close collaboration and a person-centered approach.

About You

YH education as a health administrator, medical secretary, or equivalent.

You are a trained health administrator with experience in primary care and good knowledge of Cosmic and other relevant IT systems within Region Östergötland. We consider previous knowledge as a personnel planner, IT resource with LBA responsibility as meritorious.
