About the Job

Working as a medical student in patient-centered care means being involved in planning, decision-making, and execution of care measures throughout the patient's hospital stay on the ward.

Examples of tasks include, with variation based on the specific needs of the department:

• Conversations and care of patients, such as arrival conversations and care status
• Care planning and documentation of care work
• Participate in preparing, administering, and giving medications
• Sampling, PVK control, as well as inserting PVK and catheters
• Participate in rounds
• Contacting relatives
• Care epicrisis

Qualifications

You are a medical student who will have completed at least semester 9 by the summer of 2026. Previous experience working as a nursing assistant or caregiver is an advantage.

You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.

As a person, you are caring, responsible, and meticulous. You find it easy to be flexible and work in an environment with a lot of varied tasks at a fast pace. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Conditions

Your job title will be medical assistant. Full-time measure 38.25.

Other

This position involves working days, evenings, and weekends throughout the summer.
