About the job

Kumla Bostäder AB needs reinforcement for the internal and external maintenance of our residential areas this summer. The position is part of our summer job offer for young students and is suitable for you who want to develop your work experience and gain insight into what it is like to work in property management. We can offer summer jobs during the periods of weeks 25-28 and 29-32. If you have preferences regarding which period you can work, we would appreciate it if you mention that in your application.

As a summer employee with us, you will have varied tasks. You will perform stair cleaning and ensure that our residential areas are clean and tidy. The work also includes external maintenance of green areas and other common areas. Depending on your age, the tasks may vary. Stair cleaning and weed removal will be ongoing throughout the summer, as well as hedge trimming for those who are 18 years or older. Some driving will be required for those who have a driving license with category *B*. Collaborating with regular staff and summer job colleagues comes naturally to you, and we help each other.

Daily contact with tenants, colleagues, and management is something you find enjoyable and developing. Working as a summer employee at Kumla Bostäder AB can sometimes be physically demanding, which means you need to have good physical fitness and be practically inclined. You enjoy keeping things clean and tidy, both inside and outside. If you are a young student with previous experience in cleaning, grounds maintenance, and live in one of our residential areas, that is an advantage.

Requirements for the position:

· To perform the tasks, you need to be eligible to work according to the work environment regulations for minors, which means that work can be performed from the calendar year you turn 16 years old (Swedish Work Environment Act (1977:1160), Chapter 5, Section 2, and the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations on minors' work environment, AFS 2012:3).
