Agriculture Instructor – Part-time

Do you want to help educate the farmers of the future?

We are now looking for an engaged part-time instructor who wants to help educate our agriculture students to become the farmers of the future within the green sector. At Bollerup, you will work closely with students, colleagues, and the daily agricultural operations in an environment where theory and practice go hand in hand.

About the role

As an instructor, you will participate in teaching Bollerup's high school students, both practically and theoretically. Teaching takes place in our fields, in the workshop, and in the classroom. You will work in a team with teachers and other instructors, where collaboration and shared responsibility for the courses are an obvious part of our working method. The role includes participating in practical moments within crop production, including in connection with students' thesis projects. Safety, well-being, and the best interests of students and staff are always our highest priority.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has practical experience in agriculture
  • Is comfortable with agricultural machinery as well as maintenance and service
  • Has good knowledge of all aspects of crop production – from soil preparation in spring, through the tasks of the growing season, to harvesting and preparation for winter
  • Can assist in teaching where basic building maintenance is included
  • Enjoys a varied job and has a genuine interest in the many aspects of agriculture

It is an advantage if you have education in agriculture and previous experience from similar work.

What we offer

With us, you will work closely with the school's agricultural operations using modern machinery and our own fields directly connected to the teaching. This creates unique opportunities to naturally combine theory and practice.

We offer, among other things:

  • Access to a modern fleet of machines and a well-equipped workshop
  • Own teaching fields
  • Collegial support and close collaboration between teachers and instructors
  • Opportunities for professional development based on needs
  • Annual wellness allowance
  • An inspiring teaching environment in beautiful surroundings in Österlen

Welcome to become a part of Bollerup and help shape the farmers of the future!
