About the Position

As a Sales Leader for Fruits & Vegetables, you will have overall responsibility for the department's operations, quality, and profitability. You will lead a team of about 10-15 employees and ensure that the department is always well-stocked, inspiring, and seasonally adapted.

The role combines strategic thinking with practical work in the store. You will plan purchases, lead the team in daily tasks, and follow up on key performance indicators related to sales, margins, and waste. Together with the Fresh Produce Sales Manager and other sales leaders, you will drive the development of the department and the store's fresh produce business forward.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the operation, planning, and development of the fruits and vegetables department

  • Lead, coach, and follow up a team of approximately 10-15 employees

  • Plan purchases and deliveries in AoB with a focus on seasonality, quality, and profitability

  • Monitor key performance indicators: sales, margins, and waste

  • Drive improvement work within assortment, display, and efficiency

  • Ensure order, structure, and inspiring product presentation

  • Introduce new employees and contribute to collaboration and engagement within the team

About You

We are looking for an engaged and responsible leader with a genuine interest in fruits, vegetables, and fresh produce. You thrive in a role where you can combine planning and analysis with practical store work. You have a natural authority, are curious, and want to drive development – both of the department and your colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you need to be structured, solution-oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. You easily inspire others, create engagement, and motivate your team to achieve common goals.

Requirements for the Position
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail, preferably in grocery trade

  • Experience in responsibility and leadership

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of ICA's systems (AoB, StoreOffice, Min Butik)

  • Completed ICA training such as BLU, FLU, or LU

  • Knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP

About the Employment

Scope: Full-timeWorking Hours: Varying working hours between 06:00–22:00

  • Earliest start at 06:00

  • One evening per month (approx. 12:00–21:00)

  • Work every fourth weekend, 06:00–15:00 both Saturday and SundayEmployment Type: Probationary employment with the possibility of permanent employmentStart: As soon as possible or by agreementSalary: By agreement and collective agreement
