Your Role as an Audience Host

The role of an audience host at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern Vällingby and Husby is varied and rich in content. Your main task is to welcome visitors to our events and represent us in our interactions with the audience in a present and engaging manner. You are often the first and last person our visitors meet, making your reception an important part of the overall impression. The audience hosts are available in foyers, auditoriums, galleries, and ticket offices as well as among the visitors in the venue.

We strive to be an open, safe, and inclusive place, and in the role of audience host, you actively contribute to this vision. Together with technical and administrative staff, you are also an important part of our safety and security work. With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the audience, be part of the power of culture, and help ensure that every visit is a positive and memorable experience.

Skills and Qualifications:

• You are at least 18 years old.
• You have basic technical and computer skills.
• You have the ability to take initiative, work independently, and make your own assessments with a sense of responsibility, accuracy, and good judgment.
• You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
• You are flexible and capable of handling unforeseen events.
• You enjoy meeting different kinds of people and can speak fluently in front of both small and large groups.

Meritorious:

• Additional language skills beyond Swedish and English.
• Experience working with the booking system Tix/Tixly.
• Experience working in a ticket office and/or customer service.

We would like you to have an interest in the areas of activity at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, which include theater, art, literature, music, film, discussions, and debates.
