Soros Consulting is looking for an experienced Project Manager

Soros Consulting is now seeking a senior Project Manager for a qualified assignment. The assignment is located in Stockholm (Sundbyberg) and involves strategic work at the intersection of IT, operations, governance, and inter-agency collaboration.

About the assignment

The main purpose of the assignment is to, together with representatives from another government agency, lead and conduct a comprehensive investigation aimed at developing a long-term and sustainable strategy for information separation and inter-agency collaboration.

The consultant is responsible for driving the internal work at the client by:

making guiding principles visible

describing necessary transitions

mapping future needs

concretizing goals, priorities, and dependencies related to information separation

ensuring a high degree of self-determination and autonomy

The assignment has significant strategic and organizational importance and requires both analytical depth and strong implementation ability.

Job responsibilities

The assignment includes, among other things:

In consultation with representatives from another agency, lead the joint agency investigation

Lead and manage the internal investigation work, including financial monitoring and documentation

Participate in requirements gathering together with the operations

Lead and facilitate workshops with both IT resources and operational specialists

Map needs, technical prerequisites, and future goals

Compile decision-making materials for the steering group and other decision-makers

Work format & placement

Location: Sundbyberg

Hybrid work: Possibility for remote work, but at least 2 days/week on-site according to the needs of the assignment

Introduction and work will be based at the client's office

Work computer and tools for remote work will be provided by the client

Language

Very good Swedish in speech and writing (mandatory)

Requirements profile (MUST requirements)

The consultant must meet all of the following requirements:

At least 8 years of experience in driving projects with both technical and operational analytical elements

At least 6 years of experience in projects related to cross-agency strategic work and the development of policy documents

At least 5 years of experience in requirements gathering and infrastructure analysis

At least 5 years of experience in strategic IT consulting and transformation

At least 5 years of experience in conducting investigations with significant organizational impact from an IT and service perspective

Experience in leading transformation projects where both IT and operational services have been moved between providers

Documented experience in information separation projects, including work with both physical and logical information separation

Personal qualities (MUST requirements)

Self-driven, motivated, and structured

Analytical, meticulous, and questioning

Enjoys working closely with clients, steering groups, and other stakeholders

Eager to share knowledge and work for the whole

Proactive and quality-driven

Meritorious (SHOULD requirements)

Experience from a larger government agency or equivalent

Experience in collaborating with leading roles within government or larger organizations

Documented project manager certification

Experience from assignments as a management consultant
