We are now looking for someone to work as a chef in a school kitchen. An important and independent assignment where you can make a difference for both children and adults in the school every day.

As a chef, you are responsible for planning menus, ordering ingredients, and preparing nutritious meals according to current recommendations. You lead the work in the kitchen and ensure that hygiene routines and self-control are followed. This is a role for you who want to contribute to ensuring that children and young people receive good and healthy meals during the school day.

Pamoja is the largest provider of substitutes for schools in Sweden. We have agreements with many schools and offer a variety of exciting assignments.

How the job works

You often work on short notice (the same morning). You can work a lot or a little, often or rarely. The specific tasks you will work with will be agreed upon when you are hired. You will always be personally matched to your assignments (based on your preferences and skills).

You can easily manage the job through our smart app. Additionally, you always have a personal contact with our support team who assists you when needed - before, during, and after work. You work securely under a collective agreement. Of course, you will receive proper training for the job before you start.

What do you need to know?

• You need to have a high school diploma from the restaurant and food program or completed vocational training as a chef, as well as training in self-control according to HACCP, and food safety and hygiene.
• You need to have at least 12 months of experience working as a chef in a large kitchen. You also need to be prepared to take responsibility and initiative and want to collaborate with others.
• You have great freedom to change your calendar - but you need to be ready to work as you promise.
• You need to be able to work at least 2 days a week (Are you a student? Then you need to be able to work at least 1 day/week).
• You should want to be a good role model for everyone you meet in the job!
