About the position

DFDS Logistics Contracts is now looking for a dedicated and meticulous Tug Driver for our terminal in Arendal. The position involves varied tasks at our terminal where you will have the opportunity to develop in several areas alongside skilled colleagues. As a Tug Driver, you will be responsible for moving, shunting, and positioning trailers, swap bodies, and other unit loads within the terminal area. The role is a central part of the terminal flow and requires good foresight, safety awareness, and collaboration with other operational staff.

Examples of tasks: 

• Moving and cleaning trailers

• Connecting and disconnecting trailers

• Placing units at the parking area

• Collaboration with terminal staff, traffic management, and drivers

Working hours are during the day and the workplace is located in Arendal, Gothenburg. This is a full-time position with immediate start. Selection is ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

About you

We are looking for someone who holds a forklift license (experience with different types of forklifts such as small/large counterbalance and reach trucks is an advantage). You are meticulous and able to work goal-oriented, thriving in a fast-paced environment. You are a good team player who is helpful and collaborates well with colleagues. Additionally, you are punctual, show respect for working hours and breaks, and value performing work with safety in mind. Requirements for the position

• Forklift license A+B

• Experience with reach trucks and counterbalance forklifts

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Good knowledge of warehouse systems

Mobile Consultant:

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work at our clients' locations. Being a mobile consultant means you are employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work at client companies, and your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
