At Norlandia Elderly Care, we are looking for you as a nursing assistant/care assistant who wants to work full-time/part-time throughout or part of the summer at Granparken Elderly Home in Norrtälje. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are a valuable key player who contributes to ensuring that our residents have a safe and meaningful existence in their later years. We always start from the resident's will and own ability and focus on their strengths. As a nursing assistant/care assistant, you are responsible for providing dignified and good care based on the individual needs of the elderly. Tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities, serving meals, and light cleaning in the residents' apartments. You will be involved in everything from educational care moments to enjoyable activities with the residents. It’s simply a very exciting job!

Granparken is a cozy elderly home located in Kvisthamra, Norrtälje, close to nature. 🌲💚 Granparken has 48 resident places distributed across 6 departments. One department is focused on dementia, while the remaining five are for general care. Each unit has common areas such as a kitchen, dining room, balconies, and a large lounge where residents socialize, enjoy meals, watch TV, or have a cup of coffee.

As a summer temp at Norlandia, you will have access to Cappy – an app that gives you real-time insight into working hours and salary. You can see preliminary salary and how extra shifts affect your pay, can withdraw up to 50% of earned salary if needed (hourly employees; 29 SEK/withdrawal, no credit/interest), and gain access to financial education.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also be able to collaborate easily with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• It is meritorious if you have a nursing assistant education (or equivalent education) of at least 1350 points.

• It is strongly meritorious if you have previous experience in elderly care.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We would also like you to have good computer skills and experience with documentation.

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2026

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present a criminal record extract. You also need to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
