Medical Secretary for Adult Psychiatry in Vimmerby

We are looking for a responsible and dedicated medical secretary for adult psychiatry in Vimmerby for the summer of 2026.

This is an opportunity to enhance your professional skills and gain deeper insight into the work of psychiatry within healthcare!

With us, you will have a developing and varied summer job where you work service-oriented towards colleagues and patients. Your main tasks include writing medical records, handling mail, and reception work, as well as other administrative tasks. You will collaborate closely with your colleagues in the secretary group and will be offered a good introduction and continuous supervision.

The employment is daytime from Monday to Friday during the period of June to August. Start and end dates will be determined by agreement.

About You

We are looking for someone who has training as a medical secretary or is studying to become a medical secretary and has completed at least one year of the program. Previous experience in administrative work or healthcare is an advantage.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can express yourself well both in writing and verbally. You are an experienced computer user and have experience with computerized healthcare administration. We prefer that you have knowledge of the medical record system Cosmic.

You find it easy to build relationships with other professional roles and appreciate the value of good collaboration. As a medical secretary, you will have contact with many people, both patients and staff, both within and outside the unit, which is why we place great importance on good reception and service spirit.

Your Future Workplace

Adult Psychiatry North consists of outpatient clinics in Vimmerby and Västervik, as well as psychiatric inpatient care including forensic psychiatry in Västervik. Together, we are about 200 employees in the organization.
