Do you want to win business – and do it with a company that truly cares?
Pilbäck Mark & Anläggning (PMA) is a family-owned company at the heart of the civil engineering and construction industry. Since our inception in 2011, we have grown together with our customers and employees into a stable and appreciated player in the Stockholm region. Today, we have about 35 employees, collaborate with as many subcontractors, and manage projects including utility construction for electricity, district heating and cooling, as well as foundation work for residential and office buildings.
For us, culture is as important as results. Job satisfaction, Family Spirit, Passion, and Curiosity, along with Transparency and Openness, shape our everyday life. We also want to make a real difference – therefore, we have a clear goal to be completely fossil-free by 2035 and actively work to reduce the construction industry's climate footprint.
About the role – where business, technology, and strategy meet
As a Bid Engineer at PMA, you will have a central and business-critical role. This is where many of our projects begin – and you will help shape them from the very start.
You will be responsible for analyzing tender documents, understanding customer needs, and transforming this into thoughtful, competitive bids. You will work closely with project management, purchasing, production, and management to gather the right expertise, develop accurate calculations, and ensure that each bid maintains high quality – both technically and commercially.
In addition to submitting bids, you will follow up on outcomes, draw lessons, and actively contribute to developing our working methods, processes, and tools. This is a role for you who want to influence, improve, and genuinely win business.
You will report to the Deputy CEO and work independently with great trust in your abilities.
Who are you?
You are analytical, structured, and business-driven – but also unpretentious and collaborative. You enjoy taking responsibility, like working with numbers, technology, and structure, and thrive in the intersection between detail and the big picture.
You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and preferably also in English. You have the ability to see what is important in a tender document and can transform complex information into a clear and winning bid.
Above all, you share our values and want to be part of a company where people thrive, develop, and stay.
