We are looking for a Railway Project Manager for Trafikverket.

This is a consulting assignment. The stationing location is Jönköping or Linköping.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As a project manager, you will drive railway projects with societal benefit as your guiding star, from early stages to implementation and closure. You are responsible for ensuring that the project delivers on time, within budget, and with the right content, and you will lead projects together with project engineers, specialists, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities

Establishing and monitoring schedules, budgets, and forecasts

Planning and conducting project meetings

Coordination with internal and external stakeholders

Monitoring technical documents, deliveries, and deviations

Reporting project status regarding time, cost, and content

Preparation and quality assurance of decision-making materials

Participation in procurements and contract follow-up

Application of Trafikverket's project model and document management

Working on multiple parallel projects depending on the decided workload

Carrying out assignments in close collaboration with Trafikverket's project organization

Projects within, for example, track replacements, catenary measures, switch replacements, electrification, level crossing measures, as well as signal and technical system measures

Requirements (Mandatory)

Ability to express oneself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.

Experience working in project groups where coordination has been important.

Driving license B.

At least three (3) years of work experience as a project manager in the relevant technical area (general railway). The work experience should not be older than 10 years.

Knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and directives in the relevant area.

The consultant must have completed BASÄSKYDD.

Completed at least two (2) assignments in a supervisory role that have involved the preparation of construction documents or work in the production phase within at least two (2) of the following technical areas:

– switch/track replacement

– electrification/catenary replacement

– substation/signal

Must have completed training to function as the Client's construction work environment coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U. The training must not be older than five (5) years.

Meritorious

You have documented experience working in Trafikverket's project operations or in assignments with equivalent application of Trafikverket's governing documents, working methods, and system support.
