Then we want you to become our new colleague! As a nursing assistant in home care, you will work with traditional care and support tasks. The target group is primarily the elderly, which requires practical knowledge in accordance with the municipality's and the National Board of Health and Welfare's values for care work.

The work with clients is largely independent. You will have close cooperation with your colleagues. You will be in contact with relatives, other professionals, and occupational groups within the organization, as well as various actors outside the organization.

In home care, the elderly's meaningful existence is promoted both physically, mentally, and socially. As a nursing assistant, you support and help the client with, for example, personal care, nutrition, household maintenance, and medication. All interventions are carried out based on the client's own needs and wishes.

As a nursing assistant, you have delegated tasks according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and work with medication management and documentation according to the organization's instructions.

Working hours are scheduled during the day with work every other weekend.

Qualifications

As a person, you are flexible and have an easy time collaborating. You have the ability to communicate well and work according to people's different needs and conditions. You are empathetic, attentive, and have a positive attitude. It is also important that you can review, analyze, and assess your own work to be able to perform interventions of good quality. We place great importance on personal suitability and previous experience.

Eligibility requirements for the position

• Driver's license with category B
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Meritorious for the position

• Nursing assistant education
• Experience in care and support, preferably home care
• Knowledge of the operational system Lifecare and e-medication

The social services sector includes elderly care with special housing and home care, special care for people with disabilities, individual and family care (IFO), and the labor market unit (AME).

Elderly care works to ensure that people can age with dignity and security in Orsa Municipality. Services should be provided based on the individual's own needs and wishes.

Home care assists with personal care and practical tasks that one can no longer manage in their own home. Home care services are based on the needs assessment made by the municipality's assistance officer.
