About the role

As a Production Engineer at Synsam, you play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient transition between design and production, as well as in the management of both new and existing products. You take significant responsibility for maintaining and updating procedures and workflows to ensure they are current and adapted to the needs and requirements of production.

The position is located at our office where you will be part of an engaged team of 12 people in various roles. You work closely with production staff as well as with different departments at the head office in Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the introduction of new products into production

  • Ensure a safe, stable, and efficient production through continuous improvements

  • Analyze production to identify bottlenecks and improvement potential

  • Drive the development and updating of routines, processes, and working methods

  • Ensure that product documentation is accurate and up to date

You work closely with design, production, and other functions to keep the whole process together from prototype and testing to finished product in production.

Who are you? We are looking for someone who is structured and methodical in their approach while also being adaptable when circumstances change. You are solution-oriented, collaborative, and have the ability to switch between details and a broader perspective.

Working closely with production and in a practical environment motivates you. You are confident in advocating for your solution while being able to adapt to the bigger picture and always act in the best interest of the business. You thrive in a role where you can keep everything together, drive issues forward, and lead others without formal personnel responsibility.

Experience and profile:

  • Several years of experience in production technology or as a production engineer

  • Experience with product introductions and change management in production

  • Good technical understanding of products, functionality, and manufacturability

  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and leading projects

It is a plus if you have previous experience working in CAD environments, preferably in Rhino or similar design and construction tools.A few words from the nearest manager Jonas Lindgren, Production Manager.

“The best thing about working at Synsam is the variety; no day is like the other. We are a small, close-knit, and solution-oriented team where everyone gets to have an impact. As a leader, I am transparent and inclusive, and we make our decisions together.”

Does it sound interesting?

We hope so! Selection is ongoing, and the role may be filled at short notice, so please submit your application as soon as possible. Our recruitment process includes tests, interviews, and background checks for the final candidate.

At Synsam, we value diversity and believe that different perspectives make us stronger, regardless of background, gender, and age. We look forward to hearing from you!
