We are now looking for a Fresh Produce Specialist for a full-time (100%) position at our store in Årsta with varying working hours according to schedule.

Restaurants, cafes, food trucks, companies, and associations are some of the customers who shop at our stores. Our opening hours are from 6 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and from 8 AM to 6 PM on weekends. Our product range is broad – everything from kitchen appliances to fresh produce and consumables. Our customers appreciate our knowledgeable and helpful staff, and we certainly want to maintain high customer satisfaction. Therefore, it is important to us that you enjoy sales and meeting customers. Your personal commitment to our customers is evident through the extra effort you put in, understanding their business and daily lives, and guiding them to good purchases.

Your main responsibilities.

• Work in our fresh produce department with Meat & Charcuterie – you will be involved in sales, product stocking, product care, and orders. Your specialist knowledge ensures that the product range always maintains the highest quality and that our customers are met with fresh, attractive products.
• Contribute your experience and product knowledge in Meat and Charcuterie to develop the department. Your understanding of seasons, quality, sustainability, and trends allows you to actively influence the product range, purchasing, and sales results.
• Be responsible for forecasting and optimizing purchase volumes as well as ongoing monitoring and analysis of sales, waste, and profitability. Through a structured and analytical approach, you contribute to improved results and efficient product supply.
• Plan product displays based on a set annual calendar and campaign program. By using your expertise in product quality and customer behavior, you create inspiring, sales-driven displays that elevate the entire department.
• Customer service – meet our customers with engagement, knowledge, and a smile. Your ability to provide qualified advice and inspire customers with your knowledge of Meat and Charcuterie strengthens both the customer experience and the Martin & Servera brand.
• Perform cashier duties with a focus on professional interaction and high service sense. Your understanding of the products contributes to security and quality in every customer meeting.

To succeed in this role, we believe you:

• Have a strong interest in food, service, and sales.
• Have experience working with Meat and Charcuterie in a grocery store and/or restaurant.
• Have broad and deep knowledge of fresh produce, Meat, and Charcuterie.
• Have good knowledge of store economics with a focus on and understanding of profitability and business acumen.
• Have a sense for product displays in-store and creating inspiring store environments.
• Have a forklift license (meritorious).
• Have cashier experience (meritorious).
