About Villa Fornudden

In the scenic Fornuddsparken in Trollbäcken, Tyresö, you will find the newly built, modern nursing home Villa Fornudden with 60 places.

Each department has a shared kitchen and pleasant spaces for socializing and meals. There is a common outdoor area and balconies, as well as a rooftop terrace at the top of the building. Just a few hundred meters from Villa Fornudden, you will find Drevviken with beautiful walking paths by the water – perfect for short excursions. The facility also has a garden for relaxation and activities, including a sensory path with elements that stimulate sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch.

The residence is located in the residential area of Trollbäcken with plenty of green spaces. A stone's throw from the residence is Trollbäckens center, which offers a grocery store, library, and restaurants. From Trollbäckens center, buses run to and from Gullmarsplan with a travel time of about 20 minutes, and if you want to take the bus closer to the residence, the stop Bränneribacken is your destination.

• We are a Silvia certified residence, which means that everyone who works here is trained in dementia care and communication through Silvia education.

• We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg. This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the lives of our residents.

As a nursing assistant, you are incredibly important!

Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant and have worked for a few years in elderly care, preferably having worked nights at previous workplaces and know what night work entails. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also advantageous. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.
