We are looking for a senior Embedded System Developer for an advanced development assignment in Digital Key solutions within the automotive industry. The assignment is located in Gothenburg and is conducted entirely on-site.

In this assignment, you will work at the forefront of vehicle development where the mobile phone becomes the primary key to the car. The focus is on embedded software for Digital Key, where the system, using UWB localization and other data sources, anticipates user behavior to prepare the vehicle before the driver enters – aiming to create a first-class user experience.

The role also includes the development of secure NFC-based access and working with safety-critical code in both low- and high-performance nodes.

• Development of robust and maintainable embedded software in C (low-power AUTOSAR nodes) and C++ (high-performance nodes)

• Analysis of position and proximity data and development of classification algorithms

• Code reviews, unit testing, and static code analysis for high quality

• Development and management of CI/CD pipelines for embedded software

• Creation of automated integration tests in Python and Robot Framework

• Several years of experience in embedded software development

• Solid professional experience in C

• Familiar with version control (Git or equivalent)

• Experience with code reviews and unit testing

• Relevant education (BSc or higher) or equivalent work experience

• B driver's license (Sweden)

• Very good English in speaking and writing

• Professional experience in C++

• Coding according to MISRA guidelines

• Experience with Python, Jenkins, Gerrit, Robot Framework, SonarQube, CMake

• Knowledge of optimization and classification algorithms

• Experience with encrypted and authenticated communication

• Experience from the automotive industry

• Understanding of radio and wireless technologies (e.g., UWB, NFC)

• Strong team player with good collaboration skills

• Communicative and used to explaining technical solutions to different target groups

• Structured, analytical, and results-oriented

• Ability to both follow and contribute to requirement definition and planning
