Market Researchers Wanted at Retail Academics

We are now looking for one or more driven market researchers on behalf of our client Retail Academics to conduct advanced studies in a retail environment around Stockholm and Mälardalen.

About the Position

As a market researcher, you primarily work in stores where you meet customers, observe behaviors, and collect data through various methods. The role involves traveling between different stores, and in some projects, you will also participate in remodeling or adapting parts of the store environment.

Your Main Responsibilities

The role includes, among other things:

• Interviewing customers in stores about behaviors, habits, opinions, and attitudes.
• Observing, analyzing, and documenting customer behaviors in physical stores.
• Collecting data such as eye tracking, sales data, controls, and other measurement points depending on the project.
• Participating in the remodeling or rearranging of store fixtures and shelves in certain projects.
• Ensuring high quality in data collection according to given guidelines.

Practical Information:

• Start Date: January 2026
• Scope: 80% - 100%
• Location: The work mainly takes place in stores around Stockholm and Mälardalen. Occasional travel may occur depending on the project.
• Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

The position lasts for about 2 months with a chance of extension afterwards!

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a high school diploma.
• Is outgoing and comfortable contacting customers in a retail environment.
• Is punctual, responsible, and takes ownership of your assignments.
• Has a positive and engaged attitude.
• Is fluent in Swedish and has good knowledge of English, both spoken and written.
• Has basic computer skills.

Meritorious:

• Driver's license.
• Experience in market research, customer interviews, or similar roles.

• Travel beyond one hour from Stockholm counts as paid working time.
