We are now looking for a Sales Leader for Fresh Produce and Fruits & Vegetables for our X:-tra Götene store. As a sales leader, you are a key person in the business and work towards clearly defined goals by following up and interpreting key figures and working with continuous improvements within your area of responsibility. Your role also includes managing staff during the store's various opening hours. You have a strong interest in food and are a pronounced service-oriented person who understands the value of providing professional customer interaction and first-class service to customers and members.

Your work includes:

• Leading the sales work within your area of responsibility
• Creating a selling and inspiring environment in the store
• Ensuring daily operations – staffing, product supply, price maintenance, etc.
• Following up on the development of sales, budget, and margins
• Initiating, leading, and driving various initiatives to improve profitability and results
• Actively working to reduce waste and write-offs
• Continuously, within your area of responsibility, being responsible for work distribution, competence development, introduction of new employees, following procedures and regulations, etc.
• Actively contributing to the compliance of Coop's sustainability policy

The position is a permanent employment of 35 hours/week. We are open when our customers want to shop, therefore working hours may vary – day, evening & weekend. We apply a probationary period.

- The position requires experience and competence in grocery and/or retail sales or other service professions such as hotels, conferences, restaurants

- Experience with fresh produce and/or Fruits & Vegetables is an advantage

- Documented good results in retail sales are an advantage

- Experience in leading staff is an advantage

Education

- High school education is a requirement

- Post-secondary education or university is an advantage

We are looking for you who have a strong focus on sales and a strong drive to create profitability. You are creative and not afraid to try new paths in your work. Furthermore, you enjoy working in a constant development, seeing and acting from the perspective of the entire store. Other distinguishing qualities should be social, attentive, persistent, good communication skills, and the ability to make decisions.
