Do you want to help create good meals for children, students, and the elderly? Join our team this summer! We are looking for cooks or kitchen assistants who want to work in our kitchens within meal service this summer.

Within meal service, we are responsible for the kitchens in preschools, schools, nursing homes, and cafes – both in Vetlanda and in our surrounding areas. We prepare a large part of the food from scratch and see the entire dining experience as important. As a summer substitute, you will have a varied job where you contribute to welcoming, nutritious, and sustainable meals.

The work may involve:

• preparation of food or simpler meal preparations
• serving, washing dishes, and cleaning
• self-control and handling of special diets
• ordering and preparations for the day's meals

We are looking for summer workers for weeks 26–33, and you can choose which weeks you want to work. Working hours are during the day and on weekends, depending on the workplace.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, service-oriented, and enjoys working with others. You thrive when the pace changes, take responsibility in the kitchen, and see what needs to be done. Whether you have experience or are new to the profession, you are meticulous, positive, and contribute to a pleasant dining environment.

Qualifications

• We are looking for you who are a trained cook or kitchen assistant.
• Experience from working in a kitchen is an advantage, but not a requirement.
• Driver's license (B).
• Criminal record extract.
• We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
