Job Description

As a reach truck operator, you will be responsible for handling and transporting goods within our client's warehouse. You will supply production with materials, handle returns, operate forklifts, maintain accurate inventory, and contribute to a well-organized warehouse. Your tasks will include daily inspection and maintenance of the forklifts as well as following safety regulations. You will also collaborate with the team to ensure that the supply chain operates smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a valid reach truck license and at least one year of experience working as a forklift operator. You should have basic knowledge of safety regulations and be comfortable operating different types of forklifts. To succeed in this role, good physical condition and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are also required. You should have completed high school education with a focus on technical subjects or equivalent.

It is an advantage if you have previous experience in warehouse management and logistics as well as knowledge of warehouse management systems. Experience working in industrial or manufacturing environments can give you an edge. If you have undergone further training in transport and logistics or have a driver's license for other vehicle types, this is also considered a plus. The ability to work in a team and good communication skills are appreciated.
