Job Description

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations. Your primary task is to make people feel safe in their everyday lives. You do this by being present in public places, which hopefully has a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that in one way or another make a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

This position is suitable for you who enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. We have a strong community and a wide range of experience among our colleagues that enables us to handle most situations. If you want to be part of a close-knit team, this is the job for you.

The current assignment involves maintaining order at one of our sites, which can be public places or stationed at a client. You will be based in Malmö and will primarily work 12-hour shifts either day or night.

Qualifications

We are looking for a calm and stable person who can maintain composure even when a lot is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but you also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when necessary. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard training and a valid security guard permit
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B

• The position is a need-based employment with the possibility to work up to full-time during the period of June - August with start date according to agreement. We apply a 6-month probationary period

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, security screening according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns compliance with the law, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
