In collaboration with the Employment Service and Astar, KLS in Ugglarp is launching a recruitment training program. The food company KLS is a leader in the Swedish meat industry and has a need to hire new employees in slaughtering and butchering.

The company is struggling to find trained personnel in the industry and is therefore interested in training butchers and slaughterers of pork themselves. The first part of the training runs from February 23 to June 19 and provides you with basic knowledge. After that, you will enter a summer position from week 26 to 33. After the summer position, the training continues. The total training period will be approximately 44 weeks. After that, you will be offered a probationary employment at KLS in Ugglarp.

The recruitment training is full-time and is aimed at those who are registered with the Employment Service and are completely unemployed. Theoretical and practical elements are alternated, and the practical training parts are located at the workplace about 4 days a week.

Who are you?

• You are interested in working in the food industry and have a desire/motivation to develop within the profession.
• You enjoy working physically as the job is demanding. You will be standing while working.
• You can communicate in Swedish, as well as read and understand instructions and safety regulations.
• You have a B driver's license and access to a car, which is required to reach the workplace. There is no public transportation nearby.
• You are over 18 years old.
• You are completely unemployed and registered with the Employment Service.

KLS is a food company focused on Swedish raw materials. The food company KLS is a leader in Swedish meat production. It has four slaughtering and butchering facilities in Sweden and 5 charcuterie facilities. Approximately 1700 employees.
