About Us
AISAB is a healthcare provider specializing in emergency care and psychiatric nursing.
We are proud to offer a vital and unique service through our psychiatric ambulances. Our units are staffed by an experienced team consisting of specialist nurses in psychiatry and ambulance caregivers, with the mission to quickly and professionally provide psychiatric assessment and care on-site for patients in acute psychiatric crises. To ensure the highest possible quality and patient safety, we are now looking for a medically responsible physician who wants to take overall responsibility and lead our work within the psychiatric ambulance service.
Responsibilities
In the role of Medically Responsible Physician for the psychiatric ambulance, you will have overall medical responsibility for our psychiatric ambulances. You will be a central actor in ensuring high medical quality and patient safety in prehospital emergency psychiatric care. Your main tasks include being responsible for, together with the station manager and relevant support functions, formulating medical decision support and governance processes for prehospital emergency psychiatric care. You will also, in collaboration with support functions, formulate, revise, and communicate governing documentation to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and agreements.
In your work, you will collaborate with care developers and other relevant functions to develop and revise medical guidelines, routines, and documentation for managing patient records in FRAPP and TakeCare. Another important part of your role is to be active in the work of developing and following up on care quality indicators within prehospital emergency psychiatric care. You will also lead and educate staff to ensure that everyone has the necessary competence and knowledge to handle acute psychiatric cases. Furthermore, you will have a central role in connection with training efforts in emergency psychiatry at our clinical knowledge and training center. The role includes clinical service in the psychiatric ambulance.
As the medically responsible physician, you will also be responsible for quality monitoring and evaluation of interventions in the field, as well as developing improvement work to optimize care. You will act as a medical advisor both internally and externally and participate in strategic work to further develop the business. You will work closely with management, relevant stakeholders, and other healthcare providers to ensure a cohesive solution for our patients and a well-coordinated effort in psychiatric emergency care. You will also be part of AISAB's medical management group.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed physician with specialist competence in psychiatry. You have experience working in psychiatric emergency care, you have experience leading, managing, and working based on management systems, and you have previously collaborated with support functions within care and patient safety with good results. You are confident as a decision-maker, you have a forward-looking attitude and a strong interest in development and learning. You see the value of good collaboration and sharing your knowledge and experiences with others. Your commitment, flexibility, and positive attitude contribute to a good work environment, where we all help each other and collaborate to achieve the best care quality for our patients. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
It is an advantage if you have experience working with mobile units or psychiatric ambulances and have completed relevant training in prehospital care and emergency care.
