About this work area
At IKEA Örebro, it’s full speed every day, and no two days are alike. We have about 25 employees daily in Sales and Customer Experience, which we simply call CX. We greet our customers at the entrance, assist with payment at the checkout, handle returns and complaints at customer service, arrange home deliveries, take care of children in the play area Småland, and assist our customers in all our sales departments. All of us at IKEA Örebro are responsible for creating a fantastic experience for our customers and contribute to IKEA's overall sales.
As an Operations Leader, you will be responsible for daily staffing and are expected to lead and allocate the daily operations in CX/Sales. As part of the Operations Leader team, you will start and plan the day, participate in duty meetings to ensure proper staffing in CX/Sales and throughout the store, be responsible for evacuations, and hand over tasks to your colleagues, among other things. You will meet many different people and be the spider in the web. You will have close communication with the managers in CX/Sales and will work with both feedback conversations and conflict management. This role requires you to be responsible and flexible as you will have a lot of freedom under responsibility.
When you are not acting as the Operations Leader, you will work in the daily operations at the checkout or customer service. The job also includes overseeing commercial areas and ensuring that the store is well-stocked. Regardless of the task, you will have the same joy, energy, and goal; to exceed our customers' expectations!
