As a Head Waiter, you are a key person in the restaurant's operations and guest experience, working closely with both kitchen and service staff to ensure high quality in all customer interactions.

About the role

As a Head Waiter, you are responsible for leading the daily work in the dining room, creating clear structure for the team, and being a warm and professional host for our guests. The role involves planning seating, table placements, handling bookings, and ensuring that service runs smoothly throughout the evening. You act as the spider in the web between guests, service, kitchen, and other departments.

Your main responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests with a high sense of service

• Plan and coordinate table placements and seating

• Lead and support the service team in daily operations

• Collaborate closely with the kitchen to optimize the guest experience and serving times

• Handle bookings, waiting lists, and special requests

• Follow up on guest feedback and drive improvement work

• Ensure that service, hygiene, and safety routines are followed

We are looking for someone who is:

• Service-oriented and professional with a warm demeanor

• Structured and confident in leading a team

• Flexible and stress-resistant in a fast-paced environment

• Communicative and solution-oriented

• Experience in a similar role within the restaurant or hotel industry is an advantage

• Good knowledge of English is an advantage

Employment type: Permanent from 75% Start date and salary: Salary according to agreement and start date by arrangement
