JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a seasonal worker in our team, you will work for our municipal residents and contribute to a clean and tidy municipality. Common tasks for the season include lawn mowing, waste management, weeding, pruning, and planting. Work takes place in several of the municipality's locations, and the work can sometimes be physically demanding and requires good physical condition.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a practical person who enjoys working outdoors. You have a relevant education in green space management, at least a 1-year program, combined with several years of experience in park work.

You must have a B driver's license for manual vehicles.

It is an advantage if you have training or qualifications in the following:

  • Brushcutter certificate (RA)
  • Chainsaw certificate A, B, or E
  • BE driver's license or extended B driver's license

We expect you to have experience operating green space machinery as this is the main task for your seasonal employment with us. Experience with hand tools, such as trimmers and brush cutters, is also an advantage. In addition, we want you to be responsible, flexible, have good service skills and interpersonal skills, and possess good teamwork abilities. Therefore, great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

If you are selected for employment, the employer will request an extract from the criminal record. The municipal council has decided that all new hires must present a criminal record extract before employment. The extract to be shown is the one for work within schools or preschools.
