We are now looking for a seasonal cemetery worker in Lidhult, Odensjö, and Vrå 100% from April 7 to November 6, 2026.

The position includes tasks at the cemetery/grave site and other green areas. Duties such as planting, plant care, watering, weeding, hedge trimming, pruning, trimming, lawn mowing, leaf collection, and grave digging.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented and responsible. You should be able to collaborate easily and have a good approach towards people visiting our cemeteries. You have the ability to work both independently and together with others. It is desirable that you have education at least at the high school level or equivalent education. However, experience in gardening, caretaking, or similar is an advantage.

You will be the face of the Church of Sweden at the cemetery, and being able to meet visitors with dignity and empathy is seen as a fundamental requirement for the job.

The work involves both independent work and collaboration with other cemetery workers and church caretakers.

We work outdoors in all weather conditions.

We are looking for someone who has

• Experience or education in green space maintenance
• At least a B driver's license
• Social skills, service mindset, and ability to collaborate
• Basic understanding of green space machinery.
• The position requires that you share the values of the Church of Sweden.
