Your new job

The position is a combination of activation responsibility and care work. As an activation leader, you plan and implement activities that create joy, structure, and social contexts – both individually and in groups. You work closely with the care staff and collaborate with activation leaders in the municipality as well as associations and volunteers. The position is new, and you have the opportunity to influence the design of the work.

Your role as an activation leader means that you are the coordinator for activities and have overall responsibility for planning, coordinating, and communicating activities at Ekebogården. You work both practically with activities and as support to colleagues in our departments, to ensure that activities are carried out regularly and in an equal manner. As a coordinator, you will also follow up and develop the activity offerings based on the residents' needs for activities.

Examples of tasks:

• plan and lead activities based on the elderly's interests and needs
• create variation, participation, and community in everyday life
• contribute to daily care work, primarily during weekend shifts
• maintain contact with local actors and develop collaborations

The position is a permanent position at 80 percent. The start date will be agreed upon.

Ekebogården

Ekebogården's nursing home was built in 2013 and is centrally located in Ekenässjön within walking distance to a grocery store and pizzeria. The outdoor environment is beautiful and calming. There are three departments – Smaragden, Diamanten, and Kristallen – with eleven apartments in each unit. The departments have common areas such as a kitchen, dining room, and lounge. We also have a spacious activity room with a kitchen and a shared restaurant used for larger activities, such as concerts.

Qualifications

We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

We are looking for someone who:

• is a trained nursing assistant
• has the ability to inspire, motivate, and create positive encounters
• is secure, creative, and attentive with good collaboration skills

Meritorious:

• Driving license B and access to a car
• experience from similar work
