We are now looking for a Technical Author with a focus on illustrations to a technically skilled team in the area of Safety & Logistics Support. The role involves working with technical publications as a central area of expertise, where clear and accurate documentation is crucial.

The assignment is suitable for you who are a technical writer and illustrator with a strong interest in technology and who thrives in an environment where collaboration, quality, and responsibility are in focus. You work analytically, are self-driven, and have an easy time building trusting relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

In the role of Technical Author, you will be responsible for developing and further enhancing technical illustrations and documentation used in safety and logistics support. The work includes analyzing technical material, collaborating with subject matter experts, and ensuring that illustrations and instructions maintain high quality and are tailored for the end user. You actively contribute to the team's work and take personal responsibility for driving your tasks forward, from idea to final delivery.

• Degree in a relevant field

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• 2–4 years of work experience as an illustrator

• Experience with illustrations related to maintenance and repair instructions

• Experience in creating instructions for software usage

• Previous experience working in UPTIME 4 or equivalent XML/CMS tools

• Knowledge of S1000D

• Experience with Photoshop

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator

The assignment is located in Jönköping and is performed on-site with no possibility for remote work. The start date is March 1, 2026, and the assignment runs until March 8, 2027. The scope of the assignment is full-time.
