Restaurant SOL in Lund is looking for an independent and food-interested café assistant who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about providing guests with a positive experience. We offer a varied job in a warm and inspiring environment – right in the heart of Lund's academic life.

About the position:

As a café assistant/cold kitchen worker, you will work with everything from sandwich preparation, salads, and lighter dishes to sales, service, and daily operations of the café. You will be responsible for keeping order, contributing energy to the team, and greeting guests with a smile. The job requires you to be self-driven and enjoy taking responsibility – but also to appreciate teamwork.

Working hours:

• Weekdays from 07:00 AM to 04:00 PM
• Evening and weekend work may occur as needed

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in food, coffee, and service
• Has at least 3 years of experience working in a café, kitchen, or cold kitchen
• Is self-driven, proactive, and meticulous
• Enjoys juggling multiple tasks and has a good attitude
• Is flexible and solution-oriented

About Restaurant SOL:

Restaurant SOL is located adjacent to the Language and Literature Center at Lund University – one of Sweden's largest educational and research centers in languages, literature, film, theater, and cultural studies. Daily, students, researchers, and staff move through an international and creative environment.
