At Scandic Star Lund, in the heart of Skåne, we have created our own piazza inspired by the local market culture. We are one of southern Sweden's premier meeting venues with conference capacity for over 400 people in our own theater and space for 450 dinner guests in the banquet hall.

We are now looking for a Kitchen Assistant at Scandic Star Lund.

What does the role entail?

Your primary role is to support the operations within our food and beverage departments with various operational tasks so that the staff closest to the guests can focus fully on providing world-class service. Your tasks will include basic cooking, preparation, stocking, and maintaining order in the kitchen and common areas. You will ensure that dishwashing, cleanliness, and self-control run smoothly and in accordance with food policies, concepts, and manuals.

Who are you?

To fit this role, we believe you have at least one year of experience in a similar position and experience in concept-driven operations. However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit this role, you need to be a good team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall results. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

Information about the position:

The position is a part-time temporary employment.

Temporary from 2026-02-02 to 2026-05-10 with a chance of extension.

You need to be able to start working at 05:00 on all scheduled days, and you will work every other weekend in this position.
