About the workplace

At the care and nursing administration, we work with people. Real people. People who, just like you, live life. We have about 4500 employees - from nursing assistants, support assistants, nurses, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists to economists, investigators, and assistance officers who contribute in various ways to ensure that the city's elderly and people with disabilities can live a rich and independent life.

The office for Centrum 1 is located on Jönköpingsgatan, and we provide care and support in the home to clients living in Husensjö, Rosengården, and Adolfsberg.

Job responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible.

You provide personal support based on individual needs and conditions in clients' homes and move by bicycle (if not within walking distance) between different clients. You perform tasks delegated by a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist, such as training interventions, medication handover, and wound dressing. You also work with contact person responsibility and feel comfortable documenting.

Your work requires high service standards as you have daily contact with clients, relatives, visitors, staff, and other service functions, both within and outside the city.

In home care in Helsingborg city, you work on a schedule where working hours are allocated either during the day or evening.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a genuine interest in working with people and meet each individual based on their needs and wishes.

To proceed in the recruitment process, you also need to:

have basic computer skills and experience in documentation
be able to cycle (including e-bikes)
have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you are familiar with Phoniro and the documentation system LifeCare and have a B driver's license.
