About the role

Your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those who live with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. At the same time, you develop valuable knowledge about care, service, and aging.

As a nursing assistant/caregiver, you play a key role in a team with a nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist who work closely together.

About Breared

The nursing home is located in Breared, a quiet residential area on the outskirts of Varberg, near Apelviken. Vardaga has been operating Breared on behalf of Varberg Municipality since 2008 with 92 places, focusing on dementia and somatic care. Follow us on Instagram @vardagavarberg

• Dementia certification: We are a dementia-certified residence, which means that all of us who work here are trained in dementia and response through the Dementia Academy.

• Group managers: You have a manager close to you who spends part of their time working in the business. This can also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant.

Your experience and knowledge

We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant/caregiver or have equivalent experience in elderly care.

Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
