The home healthcare service is based in Ullstämma sheltered housing and is responsible for health care in the home in the southeastern parts of Linköping. We are now looking for a nurse for daytime work. We provide you with an individually tailored introduction based on your experience.

About the role

The home healthcare service provides health care in the patient's home when they cannot reach their health center. In collaboration with primary care, specialist nursing assistants, and care staff, the nurse in home healthcare plans and performs the health care measures the patient needs.

Typical tasks include:

  • wound dressing

  • support with medication management

  • infusions and injections

  • sampling

  • vaccination

  • assessments

  • fitting of incontinence products

  • delegation

  • supervision

Collaboration and supportYou will be part of a team with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to coach and educate the care staff so that together you can provide each patient with the best possible life.

Clear routinesTo create security and clarity for you as a nurse, there is extensive support in the form of practical and easily applicable routines, governing documents, and checklists.

About home healthcare

The home healthcare team consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and a group manager. We sit together in an open office landscape at Ullstämma sheltered housing. We work together as a team to take responsibility for a holistic view of our patients and their needs. We work proactively and health-promoting with patient safety and patient satisfaction as guiding principles.

Your experience and knowledge You are a licensed nurse, and we prefer that you have worked for a few years in elderly care. Our patients are often multi-ill, and this requires that you have both an overview of various diseases and conditions as well as an interest in the aging person. Good computer skills and experience in documentation are important.
