Job Advertisement: Fresh Produce Sales Manager

In your role, you will work to create an efficient, inspiring, and profitable fresh produce department with first-class customer service. You have a positive attitude and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with varied tasks. When problems arise, you tend to focus on solutions rather than problems, always prioritizing the customer's best interest. You will actively participate in the store's daily tasks and have ongoing responsibility for operations, staffing, and change management.

We place great importance on your leadership, as leading and developing your employees is a significant part of your daily routine. To succeed in this, you need to communicate easily, be clear in your leadership, and have a coaching and supportive approach. The role includes both financial responsibility and responsibility for staff as well as quality assurance. Furthermore, the position will include:

• Being a role model and leading by example in accordance with Coop's values
• Managing ongoing personnel work within your area of responsibility, such as task distribution, skills development, onboarding of new employees, adherence to routines, information, and regulations
• Analyzing key figures/statistics and suggesting, prioritizing, and taking action
• Actively working with shrinkage and waste
• Leading sales efforts within your area of responsibility and for the overall store when the store manager is not present
• Ensuring daily operations

As the Fresh Produce Sales Manager, you will be part of the store's management team, working strategically together for the store's continuous development. Your role requires you to be goal- and results-oriented with a pronounced sense of order and structure, with documented experience in a leadership position within retail or grocery trade, preferably with a focus on fresh produce.

The position is a permanent full-time employment (40 hours/week) with an immediate start or as agreed. Working hours vary and include both day and evening shifts as well as weekends. Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We apply a probationary period.

Education

• High school education is a requirement
• Post-secondary education or university is an advantage

Experience/Special Skills

• The position requires broad experience and competence in retail sales, preferably with a focus on fresh produce
• Documented good results in retail sales are an advantage
• Documented experience in leading staff is an advantage
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement
