We are now looking for you who want to work with high quality in our kitchens at the staffing unit.

Your role with us

As a kitchen assistant with us, you will step in during temporary needs for our food unit. You will be responsible for cooking, preparing special diets, and serving. Your tasks will also include dishwashing, cleaning, packing, ordering, self-control, and other common kitchen tasks. You will work in the food program Mashie, and we use Time Care Pool as a booking system for your shifts. As a substitute, you will not know which kitchen you will be placed in, which requires you to be open to new challenges every day. You will work during the day, and weekend work is part of our operations. As a substitute with us, you are an ambassador for the Joint Service staffing unit.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has completed a restaurant and food program with a focus on the kitchen or another equivalent education. We prefer that you have knowledge and experience in special diets and experience working in large kitchens. If you have knowledge and experience with food data programs as well as experience with ordering and invoice management, that is an advantage. We want you to have good knowledge of food hygiene and self-control. Since there is a lot of written information and communication involved in the job, we expect you to be computer literate and proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. You should have a B driver's license and access to a car. Your personal qualities are important, and we are looking for someone who is flexible, attentive, and has an easy time collaborating. You are solution-focused, positive, driven, and engaged. Being able to contribute that little extra to both colleagues and guests is important to you. Since we have some operations related to childcare, you will need to present a criminal record check according to the provisions in Chapter 2, Sections 31-33 of the Education Act if you are offered employment.
