In our clinics, we investigate and treat common major diseases such as cognitive impairment, osteoporosis, diabetes, stroke, and heart diseases. Our clinics also include a Diagnostic Center where patients with unknown primary tumors or nonspecific cancer symptoms are investigated, and a clinic for multimorbid elderly patients.

Nurse for the Heart Clinic

Are you our new colleague and want to develop together with us? We have received an expanded assignment within the heart care area and need to grow, therefore we are now looking for an engaged nurse who is passionate about heart care and wants to help further develop our clinic.

About the Position

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest or experience in cardiology for our heart clinic.

The heart clinic is part of the medicine clinic, which also includes clinics for clinical physiology, endocrinology, COPD, stroke, gastroenterology, Diagnostic Center, and physician's office. With us, you will work in a multidisciplinary team consisting of doctors, nurses, biomedical analysts, and nursing assistants – always with the patient at the center.

Job Responsibilities

• Clinic work, including nurse-led consultations for patients with coronary artery disease, heart disease, and arrhythmias
• Booking and phone counseling via TeleQ
• Referral management and quality registry work
• Teamwork with doctors, nursing assistants, and other professionals
• Other tasks that occur at the clinic

You Will Receive

We offer a structured onboarding and training in clinic work and associated tasks. You will receive support from nursing leaders and experienced colleagues. For those with longer experience, there are good opportunities to contribute to development work within nursing, improvement work, quality, and documentation.

Personal Qualities

We place great importance on personal suitability. You are mature, meticulous, and have good collaboration skills. You are engaged, positive, and responsive to patients' needs, and have the ability to work in a structured manner and prioritize when the situation requires it. You can work independently but also thrive in a team. It is an advantage if you have an interest in and experience with improvement work and are driven to develop in your professional role.

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare
• At least 3 years of professional experience in cardiology
