Midwife at Salem Midwifery Clinic
As our colleague is retiring, we are now looking for a midwife for a permanent position at our clinic at Salem Midwifery Clinic.
Salem Midwifery Clinic is part of the family center and is now seeking a midwife for a permanent position.

The clinic consists of two midwives and a unit manager. We have a close collaboration with the family center, and care is provided based on a holistic approach with a focus on creating safety. We place great importance on working evidence-based for good quality and high safety for both visitors and employees. Accessibility, participation, and continuity are our cornerstones.
Salem is a multicultural area with visitors from all over the world. The midwifery clinic is located in Salem center in the same building as the health center. Job Responsibilities:
Standard tasks at the midwifery clinic. Work at the midwifery clinic is varied. We work with pregnancy check-ups, contraceptive counseling, STI testing, gynecological cell sampling, telephone counseling, and various types of parenting support. We have both physical and digital patient visits.
You always have a colleague to consult with, and we have working methods that promote good quality and high safety for both patients and employees. We offer onboarding, and the duration varies based on your previous experience.
Qualifications:
- We are looking for a licensed midwife with prescribing rights.
- Experience working in the Obstetrix and Takecare journal systems.
- Previous work at a midwifery clinic is an advantage.
Personal Qualities:
We are looking for someone who, like us, is curious, engaged, secure in their role, and has a good ability to work both independently and in a team. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Employment Type:
Permanent position, full-time 100%. Part-time can be discussed if interested. For full-time positions, some rotation to another clinic is included. Working hours Monday-Friday. Start date by agreement.

- in addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
