Ragnerud Kitchen is now looking for two passionate chefs who want to help shape the next chapter in our culinary journey.

About us

Ragnerud Hiking Destination is a place where tranquility, adventure, and taste experiences meet. At the foot of Kroppefjäll, we offer hiking, relaxation, and food close to nature.

For us, it is important to work sustainably, and we do this by using locally produced ingredients and as natural products as possible. We always choose Swedish, and we always want to select local ingredients and products from Västsverige and Dalsland. We use nature as our pantry, and many ingredients we find in the forest are included in our food and drink menus.

Your role

As a chef with us, you will be a central part of creating culinary joy during both everyday life and peak seasons. You will work broadly – from à la carte to events, conferences, and themed evenings. We value creativity, initiative, and a desire to create memorable meals where the ingredients can shine.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience in restaurant kitchens and a genuine interest in cooking
• Thrives in a nature-close, calm yet active work environment
• Can work independently and as part of a team
• Enjoys variety – from service during peak season to developing menus and concepts
• Appreciates a sustainable and local approach to food
• You should be innovative and creative in your work
• You are efficient and responsible and want to help develop the restaurant
• You appreciate order and tidiness, both in your own work and that of your colleagues
• You are a true team player but also take initiative when needed
